HISTORY OF GROUNDS
Creators of Grounds For Celebration, Jan and George, started their coffee business in 1994, one of the first coffee shops in the Des Moines metro. Since then they have opened several shops in central Iowa, acted as consultants for other shop owners around the Midwest, and provided house-roasted coffee beans to businesses and homes across the United States.
CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP
On the first day of 2026, Grounds For Celebration changed ownership for the first time! New owners Abbie, Ryan, and Julianna are excited to continue to provide excellent fresh roasted coffee and a community gathering space for our neighborhoods.
